Well, the Medieval Melodies systems are always works in progress. I included the crafting system with the loot because I hadn't created this system yet. Now that I have this system, I might use one or the other depending on how deeply into crafting my players want to get. I like to stay flexible!Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08061859612470321390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034425077676811089.post-16713870616698611832018-05-19T11:41:00.757-07:002018-05-19T11:41:00.757-07:00So does your crafting rules use formulas? Example, it takes 2 cloaker wings, a 11th lvl caster and 80 hours to craft a cloak of displacement. Basically, your creature loot rules uses hours instead of days.Darkwyntershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00852693533995240581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034425077676811089.post-75106448057348372652018-05-19T03:30:49.986-07:002018-05-19T03:30:49.986-07:00Good catch! I'm planning a game with a lot of potential downtime between adventures, so I'm okay with a longer amount of time to craft each item.

Also, I've found that unless you are playing Adventurer's League style and assigning DD, your players will simply ask if the time can pass no matter how long it is. So having longer times discourages the "my character works at it until it's done!" mentality.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08061859612470321390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034425077676811089.post-79494871271234441802018-05-18T21:18:18.545-07:002018-05-18T21:18:18.545-07:00Good work on this crafting post! Using Xanathar's guide it would be 10 DD and the DMG states 20 DD.Darkwyntershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00852693533995240581noreply@blogger.com
